About Us
We’re Maggie & Kate.
We met when our oldest kids were babies, 16 years ago.
We kept each other alive through the hard, wonderful, messy years of having littles (5 each) and navigating all kinds of life’s ups and downs. One of the ways we did this was dreaming about opening a coffee shop. Not just a great cup of coffee - though that would be non-negotiable - but a place that we were lacking at the time: a place to sit and stay awhile, connect with people new and old, fun and strange and wonderful. A place to get your working done and your dreaming begun.
Late 2021 we revisited the question again, for the hundredth time - and said, let’s begin. Doors opened and wonderful people encouraged and helped us with thoughts and words and muscle and sweat, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
If you catch us outside the coffee shop, we’re likely surrounded by our amazing children, or on stage (Maggie) and on the jiu jitsu mat (Kate). From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for stopping by and we can’t wait to meet in person.
